Project started from a phone call from a really talented illustrator, that I use to work with when we both had hair. Paul Hutchinson had just been made redundant from a large publishing company. In situations like that you usually ring all your contacts and see if there are any jobs on the go. Paul came over to see me, and I suggested he should start his own Free Lance Business. By the end of the meeting, I had talked myself into doing a web site for nothing and hopefully would barter the cost against illustration work, that Paul would produce at some time in the future.

Well, it was OK on the night as they say. Paul got his colourful Content Managed web site and a really nice way to display his work, so he can load up examples of his work, and I eventually recouped the cost through various projects. Paul often tells people that if it wasn’t for me, he wouldn’t have his own business.. I still don’t know if this is a compliment or a complaint!!
